AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented, motivated and experienced Utility Electrical Engineering Team Leader for employment our Hunt Valley, MD office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for the overall leadership of the electrical engineering team within The Facilities Services Department reporting to the B+P Deputy Department Manager
Take ownership of our existing electrical team and further develop the team’s accomplished design successes
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
10+ years of engineering/project experience in the design of building/facility power and lighting systems
Licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of Maryland and NCEES Record
Advanced project and client management skills including managing schedules, budgets, personnel and expectations
Must have demonstrated experience supervising and providing technical guidance and assistance to project teams
Knowledge of NEC interpretation pertaining to medium and low voltage
Diverse knowledge of engineering principles and practices in the design of MV line switch gear and large motor controls
Ability to prepare technical proposals, design budgets, construction cost estimates and schedules for all manner of electrical design tasks
Experience contributing to and/or creating work proposals (develop scopes of work, engineering fees, concept summaries, participate in presentations to prospective clients)
Significant cross-discipline knowledge
The use of load flow and distribution line design tools, including SKM and ETAP (or equivalent tools)
This position requires successful completion of the AECOM Project Management Certification program within 18 months of date of hire; this certification program is a series of learning modules and is available on-line through the AECOM Learning Management System at no financial cost to the employee
Familiarity with Visual, AutoCAD and Revit software
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
Significant design and management project experience in seven (or more) of the following areas:
Off Grid Design- PV and/or Micro-turbines
Electrical Power Failure Forensics
15KV and lower UG and OH distribution
Data Centers with 100KW UPS or larger
Instruments and Controls
Substations (5MVA and larger)
500KW and larger diesel generators and standby power system elements
