AECOM Architecture Summer Intern in Houston, Texas

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an Architecture Summer Intern to be based in Houston, TX.

This position is available for immediate hire.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in preparation of designs, quantity calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings

  • Use computer software as a tool for solving basic architectural problems

  • Maintain conformance with building standards, established architectural practices, and applicable building codes

  • Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Architecture or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in architecture project construction documentation using Revit.

  • Proficient in SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion, PowerPoint, Word and Excel, Adobe Illustrator

  • Some knowledge of project design and construction documentation and materials.

  • Ability to work on multiple, fast-paced projects and documents.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Portfolio submission required to demonstrate skill set.

  • The position requires to work in an office environment.
