Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to provide technical operator support for garrison and deployed Intelligence Communications Systems. Position is headquartered in Honolulu, HI , but provides substantial support to exercise and training operations throughout the USINDOPACOM Area of Responsibility.
Intelligence Communications Systems include C4ISR communications assets like the JWICS Termination Suite, GATR Satellite Terminal and other assigned assets including the TROJAN family of systems.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide Systems Administration and Network Support to INSCOM GISA-P ISR requirements.
Apply knowledge of Information Assurance and Information Management policies and procedures.
Provide technical services and innovative insight for future Army concepts, as well as oral communication and ability to express information needed to provide technical expertise to the customer.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Requirements
Must have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience).
At least 2 years of satellite communications / network administration experience.
Must have either a Security+ or Network+ certification.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office application software and Windows desktop operating systems.
Working knowledge of Information Assurance and Information Management.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to perform detail-oriented work and balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasks.

Proven ability to resolve problems efficiently and effectively, recognizing customer competence levels, and able to approach each level appropriately.
Position may require travel up to 50% of the time in support of military exercises.
Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen.
Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
CISSP or PMP certifications are a plus.
Knowledge of VmWare services and the networking of those services, whether introductory or advanced, is a plus.
Working knowledge of Army enterprise computer systems and integrated software application programs is a plus.
