AECOM is seeking a
Defensive Cyber Subject Matter Expert to support the USINDOPACOM and PACAF Theater Security Cooperation in
This is a contingent position.
The Defense Cyber Subject Matter Expert will be specifically assisting and executing mission assurance strategies with regard to protecting and defending Key Cyber Terrain which has been identified with a mission set utilizing Secure, Monitor and Defend methodologies. Candidate shall work with the team to develop Cyber Threat Analysis and Vulnerability Analysis and perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related discipline plus 4 years of IT/IA experience.
In lieu of a degree, candidate must have at least 8 years of experience in a combination of IA Training, IT Certification and progressive work experience in the following areas:
DoD Certification and Accreditation
Information System Security
Vulnerability Assessment and Mitigation
Network Security Auditing
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Must be DoD 8570.1-M certified at IAT Level II.
Must have the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification
Must have certified training in Network Infrastructure (Cisco) and Microsoft Server Administration Host Based Security System (HBSS) Training.
Experience is also required in the following areas:
In-depth knowledge of network security architecture
Knowledge of network and system monitoring/auditing tools
Performing key asset scanning, monitoring, patching defending
Analyzing cyber vulnerability information and recommend mitigations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products and SharePoint collaborative tools to build trend analysis
Deploying and implementing network/system sensors
Assisting in the development of TTPs to respond to threat assessments
Performing real time monitoring
Performing log collection and analysis
- Training Certification of Completion in VMware training is desirable.
