AECOM Senior Technical Officer in Hamilton, New Zealand
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Structural Revit Technician to join our high performing diverse team in Christchurch, Wellington, Hamilton or Auckland.
Our Building Structures team work on interesting and challenging projects predominantly within the commercial, healthcare, education, and government sectors. Working closely with engineers and modellers throughout the AECOM business, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely and efficient production of drawings and other technical outputs, that will enhance the service offered to our valued clients and lead to repeat work.
The role will suit an experienced structural technician who enjoys using technology to drive efficiencies, and simplification through co-ordination of services in Revit models.
Key responsibilities include:
Revit modelling, draughting and documentation.
Developing and implementing Revit BIM standards.
Structural steelwork and concrete detailing.
Creating quality documentation and assisting in the preparation and issuing of drawings.
An experienced Revit Technician with a buildings structures background who can demonstrate:
5+ years’ experience in Revit modelling, draughting and documentation.
BIM, Revit standards and implementation.
Good understanding of BIM workflows and their application to projects.
Solid structural detailing experience.
Knowledge of steel members and concrete reinforcement detailing.
Good Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate at all levels.
Proactive approach to workload planning with the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills.
Team player and self-starter with a drive to deliver accurately and efficiently.
