Job Description
Due to continued project wins, we are looking for talented Senior and Principal Electrical Engineers to join our specialist M&E team in Hamilton. This role plays an integral part in delivering building projects across a range of market sectors and you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise to our valued clients.
Primarily, you will be responsible for the electrical services design and construction monitoring such as:
Design of electrical building services including (LV) distribution, power and lighting, emergency lighting systems, communications, IT infrastructure and security systems
Developing, maintaining and monitoring programmes for scheduling and reporting on deliverables across specific projects
Maximising profitability of projects, monitoring against budget, reacting and anticipating potential problems and communicating in line with client expectations
Qualifications
You will have gained consultancy experience and be seeking the opportunity to take on more responsibility to further develop your career. With at least 5 years' experience in electrical building design, you will be able to demonstrate:
Degree level qualification in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge of sustainable design principles.
Experience of managing projects and participating in design meetings.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, at technical and commercial level with internal and external clients (written and verbal).
Self-motivated with an enthusiasm for technical excellence.
Chartered Engineer status would be advantageous.
