AECOM Project Engineer - UK Rail Signaling in Gurgaon, India

Job Summary

  • Role and Responsibilities

  • Experience in Rail Signalling design, preferably UK rail Signalling.

  • Experience in UK Rail Signalling (preferred).

  • Experience in delivering design produced in Micro station.

  • Should be knowledgeable in Signalling principle and Network rail standards. Regulations and technical standards.

  • Will be preferred if having IRSE License of any design category.

  • Experienced in Micro station and other computer related knowledge.

  • Capable of working on as own initiative, as an overall responsibility and accountability for assigned work.

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Good attention to details.

  • Must be a team player and possess strong interpersonal skills.

  • Must be able to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way

  • Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team

  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure

  • Maintains affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical)

  • Experience in managing a design team and working in a multidisciplinary environment

  • Sound knowledge of Network Rail/Rail design and documentation

  • Experience working on large scale highways/roads design schemes

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong management skills and experience. Ability to gain client confidence and trust, through strong technical communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical)

  • Minimum experience is required 5 - 9 years in UK network Rail
