“ As part of the strategic initiative, Global Delivery Center (GDC) organisation has been established in AECOM India to provide a wide range of technical services to other parts of AECOM offices around the world. At present, GDC has a core team of 150+ personnel experienced in Building engineering and Transportation design, located in Gurgaon, India. Further growth is underway to meet the plan of establishing 300+ team size, by the end of FY16, to provide technical services in multi-disciplinary building engineering, Architecture and Structural disciplines. In the initial phases of growth, dedicated teams are formed to cater to the needs of UAE and UK offices of AECOM”.
You will be responsible for managing the Electrical design team and developing technically sound Electrical design solutions, preparing Electrical design documentation for international projects, assisting with resourcing and planning, managing cost control as well as supervising and managing intermediate and junior members of Electrical engineering staff.
Reviewing and checking Electrical reports and drawings to ensure quality of output.
Provide high level technical expertise when applying Electrical engineering principles, techniques and methods to the planning and design of building services projects.
Ensure all quality and environmental aspects of the project are identified and addressed to maintain effective operation and project delivery.
Communication to governmental authorities.
15 years+ of experience of working in the Electrical Engineering design.
A minimum 10 years of experience in the international projects like UK, UAE.
To work for the design of the residential, commercial, retail and hospitality sectors.
Be knowledgeable in electrical building design services, associated electrical regulations and technical standards (British Standards, Chartered Institution of Building Services (CIBSE), International Electrical Commission (IEC) Standards, European Standards and NFPA).
Have experience in the design of medium voltage switchgears (MV) based on 11 and 22 kV, transformer sub-stations, emergency backup generators, low voltage main switchboards (400V/230V) for normal and emergency power supply, motor control centres (MCC's), sub-main distribution boards (SMDB's), final distribution boards (DB's), raceways, cable trays, cabling and wiring, control equipment and the like, lighting installations, power outlets and wiring accessories, cable management systems, uninterruptable power supply (UPS), central battery system (CBS), earthing system and lightning protection system.
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
Should be knowledgeable in building design services, associated regulations and technical standards.
Experience in MEP Revit, Excel, Power Point and Word.Capable of working on own initiative.
Effective communication skills.
Good attention to details.
