AECOM has a position available for an Offshore Wind Permitting / Sr. Project Manager to work from any one of the following locations in the eastern United States. Locations include, but may not be limited to the following metro areas, Boston or Cape Cod, MA, New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, Raleigh, NC, Atlanta, GA. With world class technical expertise, leading edge technology and innovative project delivery capability around the world, AECOM’s global environmental practice helps industry and government meet their business goals – to achieve compliance, reduce or eliminate risks and manage impacts. We provide advisory and technical services to help clients cleanup and close contaminated sites and surplus operational facilities and restore them for reuse, plan and permit new facilities, address critical climate change issues, restore habitats and water quality, protect natural and cultural resources, maintain compliance, and cost effectively manage residuals and wastes.
BS degree in Marine Science/Environmental Science, policy or related field
8+ years of professional experience in environmental consulting / Energy market with applied science in the OSW (Offshore Wind) market to include overseeing studies, surveys and permitting in support of BOEM, SAP and COP Submittals
Prior project experience, task and project management and execution required
Must be located in Northeast Coast of the United States

Masters degree in Marine Science/Environmental Science, policy or related field highly preferred
10+ years of relevant experience desired
Understanding of the regulatory and study relationships of interconnects and landfalls desired
Strong written, verbal communication skills as well as leadership of technical teams
Strong technical and regulatory policy background consistent with understanding BOEM Permitting submittals and state regulatory policies
