Employee works under moderate to limited supervision working from objectives set by the manager.
Employee organizes and carries out most assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions, or previous training.
Knowledge/Experience - General knowledge of basic editorial principles (grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, etc.)
Proficiency in standard office suite software applications especially in MS Word. Some experience with PowerPoint and Excel is desirable
Ability to work on multiple projects, organize one’s schedule to meet project priorities, and communicate effectively with a diverse team of professionals
A background in environmental science or engineering is not required but the candidate should have the ability to learn the general concepts in the field of environmental study and clean up through exposure to project work
Bachelor’s degree in a writing-intensive field such as English, rhetoric, or similar discipline
