AECOM are supporting Irish Water in delivering their major Capital Investment Programme by 2021. The resident engineering team provide a key role monitoring the safe and timely implementation and the quality of the works in accordance with the Employers Requirements.
Hold an honours degree (level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications), or equivalent professional qualification, in engineering (ideally in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering);
Have at least 7 years’ post graduate relevant experience / Min with at least 4 years’
Relevant experience on site, supervising MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation)
Experience of water / wastewater engineering projects.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience on site in the delivery of Major Capital Infrastructural Schemes is required
Demonstrated experience administering contracts using both the Public Works & FIDIC Contracts.
Good knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
Training and certification in Safe Pass, Manual Handling, Working at Heights
Harness Training, Confined Space Entry, Managing Safety in Construction an advantage
