Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented Civil Engineer for employment in Fresno, CA to continue to expand our water treatment and water systems design practice.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Design of systems and processes for drinking water, wastewater, and/or water resources

  • Hydrological and hydraulic calculations and analyses

  • Project and task management

  • Client communication and coordination

  • Development of technical solutions as part of design team

  • Guidance to entry level engineers

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus four (6) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Training in hydraulics and water or wastewater systems design

  • Professional Engineering License from State of California or ability to acquire within 6 months

  • Experience with engineering design and preparation of design plans/specifications

  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Central California area Public Water agencies, cities, towns and other water/wastewater infrastructure clients

  • Experience with master planning, process design and preparation of plans & specifications, hydraulic modelling, and/or wastewater treatment plant design

  • Bilingual/Spanish speaking a plus
