Senior Environmental Planner and Project Manager
AECOM is actively seeking a talented Senior Environmental Planner and Project Manager to join a dynamic and highly technical team of planners, engineers, and technicians in the Franklin, TN office. As a senior environmental planner, you will lead projects for a variety of clients in public and private industries. The successful candidate will also need to be able to market these capabilities to existing and prospective clients as they grow this department. You will also have the opportunity to be part of cutting-edge design projects that utilize the latest technologies for improving all modes of transportation.
Provide technical oversight/support
Plan and manage tasks and team members
Coordinate with other disciplines
Interact and coordinate regularly with clients and sub consultants in the various assignments
National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) document management and preparation
Environmental Assessments, Categorial Exclusions, Reassessments, etc.
Client relationships and business development
Bachelor of Science degree with 8 years years of related experience or equivalent experience and/or education
NEPA document preparation
Valid driver's license
Professional Engineer License
15+ years of environmental planning experience
Projects with TDOT, TN municipalities, or other state DOTs
Coordination with FHWA and other federal agencies
Ability to work effectively in a team-based, collaborative environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good time management skills, a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a strong desire to grow a team
