This position is anticipated to begin in July 2021.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Perform assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives
Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids
Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related curriculum
Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related curriculum
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Maps, and other common business software and web-based applications
Minimum 6 months technical work experience in civil engineering or related field (e.g. summer internships, Co-Op).
Must be able to conduct fieldwork, tolerate variable environmental conditions, walk on uneven surfaces, and lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
Must be able to travel on business periodically for periods of up to 2-3 days
Must be able to work collaboratively in teams and independently when necessary
Must be able to strictly adhere to Health and Safety protocols both in the office and in the field.
Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred
Proficiency with Civil 3D, Microstation, or other design/drafting tools” as a preferred skill.
Experience collecting location data using mapping grade GPS and post-processing data
Experience with ESRI suite of GIS software products including ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and ArcToolbox.
