Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a talented Civil/Site Project Engineer to join a dynamic and highly technical team of planners, engineers, and technicians in the Franklin, TN office. As a civil/site project engineer, you will lead design projects for a variety of clients in public and private industries. The successful candidate will also need to be able to market these capabilities to existing and prospective clients as they grow this department. You will also have the opportunity to be part of cutting-edge design projects that utilize the latest technologies for delivering design services to clients.
Responsibilities:
Conceptual development
Grading and drainage design
Site utility design (water/sewer/etc.)
Pavement, parking, and ADA accessible design
Erosion and sedimentation control
Other related design tasks
Plan production and development of bid sets
Coordinating with other disciplines
Obtaining permits required from regulatory agencies
Client relationships and business development
Interact and coordinate regularly with clients and sub consultants in the various assignments
Minimum Requirements
BS Civil Engineer with 4+ years of related experience or equivalent experience and/or education
AutoCAD and Civil3D or similar design applications
StormCAD, HydroCAD, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, SWMM, GEOPAK Drainage, or other stormwater design and modeling applications
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer License
7+ years of civil/site design experience
Projects with industrial, commercial, and/or residential clients.
Greenways, park facilities, and recreational facility experience
Ability to work effectively in a team-based, collaborative environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good time management skills, a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a strong desire to learn
