Our Transport Advisory Team in Brisbane has a fantastic career opportunity for a highly motivated Transport Planner/Engineer to contribute to and work as part of our high-performing team on a wide range of transportation projects across passenger rail, light rail, bus transit, active transport, significant highway, major road upgrades projects, freight and much more.
What will a day in this role look like:
We provide design and planning advice for projects ranging from strategic planning through to detailed design across Queensland, nationally and internationally.
We collaborate with engineers, architects, economists, urban designers, sustainability consultants, environmental planners, and master planners, often leading multi-disciplinary teams to produce city- and region-shaping transportation projects.
You will develop technical solutions to complex problems for multi-modal regional and corridor transport studies, options assessments and evaluation for preliminary and detailed business cases.
You will have the ability to apply theory of engineering and planning principles regarding planning, design and operations, and its application in a range of scenarios to analyse real-world problems

What are we looking for from you?
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
Strong technical skills and knowledge of multi-modal transport planning including land use and transport integration
Experience in public transport and/or active transport planning and analysis
Experience in GIS mapping, data analysis and scripting
Competence in using traffic modelling software such as EMME, VISUM and SIDRA
