AECOM’s Resources and Industrial team have multiple opportunities for Mechanical Engineers with mining, heavy industry or industrial experience to support the successful completion of a range of projects! As part of our multi-disciplinary group, you will work across all project phases from studies through to detailed engineering and execution, working across mining, minerals processing, chemicals and defence sectors.
Being part of our team of industry experts and network of technical specialists will support the continued development of your technical and project management capabilities. Your experience within design and specification of mechanical engineering projects within a consulting experience will enable you to hit the ground running, contributing to the successful delivery of our projects.
This role is suited to a talented, hands-on engineer who is looking for a great opportunity to take part in mining projects within an established and internationally experienced centre of excellence, based in Brisbane.
2-8 years’ experience in the design and specification of mechanical engineering projects within a consulting environment – essential;
Recent, relevant project experience with major mining, heavy industry or industrial operations and projects;
Exposure to Australian Standards in Mining and Industrial operations;
Prior project engagement across either mining infrastructure, material handling or heavy industry sectors such as Fuel Services - advantageous;
Knowledge or exposure to study phases, Australian engineering standards, frameworks and procedures across project lifecycle (initiation-execution.)
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or related);
RPEQ accreditation (or a desire to obtain) strongly advantageous.
