Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Mid-Level Transportation Drainage Project Manager to be based in Dallas or Fort Worth, Texas.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manages one or more very complex project, involving a combination of the following:
Clients with a national geographic footprint; OR,
Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; OR,
Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals.
Manages other Project Managers.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
4+ years of previous design experience on transportation projects including Schematic Development and/or Preparation of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E)
Texas PE license
Experience designing highway/roadway systems and drainage systems
Experience with GeoPak Drainage, SWMM, HY-8, and HEC Programs
Experience managing multidisciplinary project with subconsultants
Experience with design software including MicroStation and GEOPAK and/or OpenRoads
Familiar with MS Office 2010 software (Excel, Word, Project) is a big plus
Experience with H&H reports
Experience with SUDAExperience in preparing CLOMR/LOMR and Coordination with Local Flood Plain Administrators/AgenciesTxDOT Pre-certifications (Schematic Development, Roadway Design, Hydrologic Studies, Roadway Hydraulic Design, Bridge Hydraulic Design, Storm Water Pump Station-Hydraulic Design, Bridge Scour Evaluation and Analysis, Coastal Hydraulic Design, Riverive Hydraulic Design, and FEMA Regulations and Permits)
Experience with Business Development/Client Relations
Experience with TxDOT proposals and interviews
Proven experience of success with TxDOT pursuits
Experience with managing people at various experience levels and ability to mentor with their career development
Good communication skills and ability to manage a team
Exposure to drainage projects in Edwards Aquifer Zone and Water Quality Plans
Exposure to drainage system in coastal environments
