Job Summary

AECOM, a premier, fully integrated global infrastructure firm is currently seeking Scaffolder Journeyman to join our team at CNRL Horizon Northern Alberta. This is a temporary role.

This position will provide safe and secure scaffold access without compromising on safety. Assemble, dismantle, modify system and tube and clamp scaffolds.

Responsabilities:

• Practice safe and secure scaffold access without compromising on safety

• Communicate effectively with both staff and supervision to ensure expectations are met

• Design scaffolds to site requirements, material specifications and CSA standards

• Safe work practices in the industrial environment with knowledge of Task Hazard Assessments

• Fully competent with assembling, dismantling and modifying System (Layer/Ring Lock) and Tube & Clamp scaffolds

• Knowledge of isometric drawings an asset

• Supporting colleagues and participating in skills transfer

• Prioritizing daily work load with managing materials efficiently

Minimum Requirements

• 4 or more years of experience in directing 6 to 10 workers

• Journeyman Ticket /Apprentice card

• Construction Safety Training System Ticket (CSTS-09)

• OSSA Fall Arrest

• Valid Driver’s license

• Pass a Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test

• Complete Online Orientation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working and executing maintenance in a live Plant-Maintenance

• Team Player dedicated to delivering results

• Personal Commitment to safety

• Read diagrams, schematic drawings and service manual to determine work procedures
