Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Labourer, Pipeline to be based at IOL Kearl in Northern Alberta.

This position will assist skilled trades’ people and perform a wide range of tasks at construction sites.

This is temporary position is to support a Shutdown and will be a 6-1 shift schedule. Travel provided from Calgary or Edmonton.

May include the following responsibilities:

  • Pipeline experience is essential.

  • Cleaning of company vehicles and/or equipment.

  • Loading, unloading, identifying, and distributing materials and equipment.

  • Cleaning and preparation of construction components (Modules, Process equipment etc.).

  • Execute assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Ask required questions and take the required direction to endure safety that work is accomplished safely.

  • Understand and follow URS' safety management system and core values.

  • Maintain all company tools and equipment to the required standards.

  • Foster a cooperative and positive work atmosphere.

  • Managing and maintaining the tool crib.

Minimum Requirements

  • Construction Safety Training Systems - 09 (CSTS-09) Certification.

  • First Aid - Standard Level C Certification.

  • Previous construction experience.

  • Physical strength and stamina.

  • Manual dexterity.

  • Safety conscious attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work with others in a team.

  • Ability to work at heights.

May be required depending on the site:

  • Valid Drivers License.

  • AWP - Aerial Work Platform Certification Required.

  • Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection (OSSA issued ticket) Certification.

  • H2S Alive Certification.
