Job Summary

AECOM, a premier, fully integrated global infrastrucutre firm is currently seeking an Equipment Operator to join our team at CNRL Albian Outage project team in Fort McMurray, AB and surrounding areas. This is a temporary role.

  • Project Details: Outage for Oct. 2018

  • Start date: Immediate employment opportunity

  • Location : Fort McMurray, AB and surrounding areas

  • Travel : Charter flights are provided from Calgary and Edmonton, and shuttle services from Fort McMurray or Surrounding areas

  • Accommodations : Camp accommodations are provided

  • Shift and Work Hours : Varies

  • Duration : Varies

  • Overtime Eligibility : This position is overtime eligible

Responsibilities include understanding and following all operating policy and procedures while operating a zoomboom vehicle and/or other equipments.The operator will also need to properly maintain and complete daily inspections and adhere to all safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of Equipment Operating experience in Industrial Construction and/or Maintenance projects.

  • Experience in outdoor physical labour or related work experience is required

  • Construction Safety Training System Ticket (CSTS-09)

  • A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in operating Zoombooms

  • Zoom Book Ticket

  • Safely operate and maintain heavy equipment

  • Experience working in turnarounds, shutdowns and/or outages

  • Willingness to learn

  • Physical strength and stamina

  • Manual dexterity

  • Strong work ethic

  • Safety conscious attitude

  • Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work in outdoor environments with uneven terrain, variable outdoor conditions including heat, cold, moist, dry, noise, dust, mineral fibers, and chemicals

  • OSSA Fall Arrest

  • OSSA Confined Space
