REP Planner

Position is located at Fort Leonard Wood, MO

The Robotics Enhancement Program (REP) Event Planner must be a person of quality and experience, able to represent the PdM’s intentions and report objectively on risks and issues in addition to proposing courses of action to meet the REP Council of Colonel’s (CoC) intent.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Identify, communicate and track overarching Centers of Excellence (CoEs) emerging requirements to the PdM UGV REP team for alignment to incoming propels through REP submission website.

  2. Assist in evaluating and aligning proposals with emerging requirements on established REP quad charts.

  3. In collaboration with the CoEs, develop:

a) Monthly updates to PdM UGV emerging requirements from assigned CoEs

b) Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) for proposals

c) Risk Assessment/Mitigation plan for proposals

d) ICD/CDD/CPD requirements timeline associated with SWG selected proposals

e) Test plan in collaboration with RDECOM and MBLs

f) Work with the REP APM for all budgetary items and documentation required to conduct each iteration of the Rep

i. Enforce the AMC standard in developing the MIPR/PRONS/DD1144s

ii. Ensure all POCs for supporting agencies are current and active

iii. Track all bugetary documents from the support agencies thru REP for timely acceptance of MIPR and obligation of funding

4.Assist the CoE’s Operational Test Director (OTD) with the assessment team for the particular experiment at hand and define each person’s role and responsibilities within that assessment.

  1. Assist the lead analyst reporting to the OTD to provide trend results to the OTD and the PdM on a periodic basis.

  2. Inform the OTD when measures have enough data to support conclusions, so the team can focus on other data gathering activities.

  3. Responsible for operational and physical security issues related to the assessment, equipment and any sensitive or classified data.

  4. Provides day-to-day technical advice to REP PdM and Battle Lab and applicable technologies under evaluation.

9.Participates and contributes to any follow-on activities, Concepts of Operations (CONOPs), experiment development/execution and Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) development to inform the REP SWG on emerging capabilities and/or capability gaps.

  1. Participates and contributes to transition planning for an emerging capability developing training plans and contributes to development of DOTMLPF recommendations.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident

  2. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

  3. Bachelor’s degree and seven (7) years of job related experience or equivalent.

  4. Excellent communication interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required.

  5. Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications is required.

  6. Travel may be required.

  7. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

  8. Must be available for any shift.

  9. Willing to work weekends and other hours as needed.

  10. Candidates must have a valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the TS3/Robotics program.

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or robotics engineering preferred.

  • Clarity of written and oral expression desired.
