AECOM Senior Environmental Project Manager in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
AECOM is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to work collaboratively with the South Florida Remediation Department Team and professionals within other AECOM internal business lines at our Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach, FL location. Responsibilities will include:
Develop new business, including marketing and proposing to potential and existing clients, and be an integral part of securing and managing clients and contracts.
Act as Project Manager on medium to large, complex projects, responsible for technical delivery, schedule management, ﬁscal management, client liaison, reporting requirements, and coordinating on with project team members.
Coordinate and prepare written reports, work plans, and technical memorandums; analyze data and develop supported conclusions.
Proactively identify opportunities s to increase project eﬃciencies, improve technical methodologies and add value to client service oﬀerings.
Assist with development of junior staﬀ through ongoing mentoring.

BA/BS degree in chemical, civil, or environmental engineering plus 4+ years of experience in an environmental engineering consulting company and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.
Licensed professional engineer in Florida.
Valid Driver's license
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certiﬁcation.
Seller-doer with business development and client management experience.
Experience as a project manager and technical lead on feasibility studies, remedial design, and remedial action oversight, including experience with design and construction of landfills and solid waste management facilities, stormwater restoration, dredging and capping projects.
Strong understanding of remediation design, cost estimating and construction.
Experience with the breadth of federal and local environmental laws, such as CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, etc.
