AECOM Tribal Relations Specialist in Fort Collins, Colorado
United States of America - Colorado, Denver
AECOM is looking to hire a Tribal Relations Specialist to be based in our Denver, CO office or remotely throughout the United States.
The Tribal Relations Specialist position requires working closely with the Director of the Office of Native Sovereign and Tribal Relations on many different projects, across business lines and regions, and for various clients. The Specialist must know how to engage the appropriate people in the appropriate way; provide a clear process for goals; take a holistic view of situations; focus on a small number of strategic actions, while learning from and adapting them over time; and, remain aware of the ways our own thinking and patterns of behavior might limit successful outcomes. Goals of the Indigenous Engagement program at AECOM are to build strong relationships with community members, collaborate with communities throughout the life of a project, identify and demonstrate community inclusion in a project in a meaningful way, and encourage capacity building. The Specialist will assist with strategic planning to this end and provide guidance to achieve these goals, all while meeting client expectations for technical excellence.
AECOM is seeking a dynamic individual, capable of conducting the below work; someone who works well with others and is comfortable in small or large groups; and who can prepare high quality technical documentation/reports/permit packages.
At AECOM, we believe infrastructure creates opportunity for everyone. Whether it’s improving your commute, keeping the lights on, providing access to clean water or transforming skylines, our work helps people and communities thrive.
