AECOM is seeking a Construction Manager that will provide construction management and QA/QC for an Army Corps of Engineering design-build project at Fort Carson, Colorado.
Responsible for managing on-site construction activities, oversight of subcontractors, and will directly interface with the client and program teams regularly. Responsibilities will also include, but not be limited to:
Managing SSHO and QA/QC professionals on-site.
Daily operational oversight of subcontractors including, site access, parking, work product QA/QC and adherence to safety programs.
Attend and participate in weekly meeting with the client and project team.
Documentation of all site activities and changes, managing the construction schedule, sub-contractor invoices, red-lines, RFI’s etc.
10+ years of construction management experience, preferably in the Federal market
Attention to detail and strong command of construction safety programs
Safety Construction EM-385 certification required
Must be able to clear Federal background check
Due to the nature and location of the work, US Citizenship is required
Ability to create and update Construction Schedules in MS project
Familiar with Excel, Office, Word, and PDF
Familiar with Proliance
Ability to manage multiple MEP subcontractors
