Job Summary

If so, we are looking for experienced Cost Managers/ Quantity Surveyors/ Project Surveyors of all levels to join our teams Edinburgh & Glasgow providing a comprehensive, accurate and value-driven service across a variety of high profile and exciting projects for clients in the public and commercial sectors. About Our Team:

Our Cost Management team in Edinburgh & Glasgow are part of the wider Scottish Cost Management team delivering all aspects of cost management services, covering the whole project lifecycle from initial inception, through the design and procurement process and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase. We have secured places on a number of local and national frameworks and are looking to expand our team to deliver an exciting mix of projects across a range of sectors and clients.

These projects vary in complexity and typically ranging in value from £5m - £50m+.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management

  • Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution.

  • Understanding of a variety of project types/sizes/sectors. Healthcare, Commercial, Education, Residential, Industrial sector experience would be advantageous.

  • Understanding of SBCC/JCT and NEC standard forms of contract

  • Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on cost, value and risk, not just cost in isolation.

  • Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clear work history and proof of professional development and learning

  • Ideally, you will live locally to the office or be willing to relocate

  • Ability to manage multiple projects for a variety of public and private sector clients.

  • Prior line-management experience
