We are currently recruiting Full & Part Time AutoCAD Technician s for our Bridges & Structures Team to work on detailing steel, concrete and composite steel/concrete structures. We are able to offers hours that are flexible around you.
Although you may not be experienced in these areas at present, your skills profile will be such that you can improve and develop these skills efficiently.
As a CAD Technician you will have the following responsibilities:
Creating CAD set-ups, including liaising with clients and architects regarding CAD protocols and standards.
Production of structural and bridge detailing drawings both for highway and railway schemes.
Use of BS1192 relevant standards.
Use of LoD and the requirements required to align Models accordingly to the appropriate LoD.
Prepare RC and steelwork details.
HNC/HND level qualifications only .
Experience of working as a CAD Technician on bridges and structures in UK.
Ability to produce all 2D and 3D design information required for any type of structure.
High level of experience with AutoCAD
Experienced in RC detailing, with experience of using CADS-RC highly desirable;
Knowledge and experience of BS1192 relevant standards would be preferable.
