Job Description
The Water team in the UK&I are looking for Information Managers with experience on a delivering engineering projects in accordance with industry BIM standards.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in information management, governance and compliance with the relevant industry codes and/or client standards. You will have strong development skills and the technical ability, knowledge and competence to provide guidance and to teach others.
We are a multi-discipline team comprising civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process engineering delivering services to our clients such as feasibility studies, scheme designs and detailed designs. Our clients are from the private and public sector and include Scottish Water, Thames Water, Wessex Water, Severn Trent, Environment Agency and several leading Tier 1 contractors.
The role:
Supporting wider organisational projects and programmes in relation to Information Management
Assist sector digital leads identify and secure Information management consulting opportunities. Responsible for delivery of these commissions for clients across all Water Sectors.
Responsible for upskilling, training, and adoption of internal project teams across CDEs (BIM360, ProjectWise, Sharepoint)
Manage network of CDE administrators and support with technical queries as required
Collaboration with sector digital leads, to ensure project/framework requirements and documentation are in place and adhered to.
Manage regional Water IM team, resourcing across region ensuring key frameworks have a designated IM in post which can build relationships with clients - hire and manage as appropriate. Identify opportunites for Enterprise Capabilities to support (if appropriate)
Project model coordination using software similar to Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud
Development of Templates across all Water sectors clients for internal teams’ adoption
Assist and prepare pre appointment BEPs for major bids/opportunities.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
A certified postgraduate Information Profession qualification or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Information Technology or Analytical Science
Membership of a professional institution desirable
Individual BIM certification (ISO19650 or BS1192) with recognised body e.g. ICE, BSi, BRE, etc. an advantage Requirements:

Comprehensive knowledge of the CIC BIM Protocol, ISO 19650 suite and related BIM standards
Liaising with client to develop and create Exchange Information Requirement
Experience with creating Framework and Project BIM Execution Plans
Experience managing and delivering project information in accordance with BIM standards
Experience working in and administering a Common Data Environment such as ProjectWise, BIM360, 4Projects, Aconex or similar
Experience in project or program management desirable
A good team player confident to liaise with other staff locally and across the global business
