Job Summary

AECOM's Dublin Cost Management team are, on the back of increasing work load and win successes, looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on exciting and challenging projects nationally. The approach to these projects requires a high degree of flexibility and creativity, excellent presentational skills and an ability to communicate effectively with clients and consultants

Job Responsibilities:

  • To undertake full scope of CM services including Pre and Post Contract Cost Planning; Procurement; Contract Admin.

  • Understanding of Commercial & Residential, new build and refurbishment

  • Understanding of various contract forms

  • Advising clients and design teams on cost, value and risk, not just cost - our USP is that we help our clients get the maximum value from their investment, not just the lowest cost.

  • An experienced Quantity/Project Surveyor Good numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to challenge in a positive and engaging manner.

  • You will possess post graduate experience in quantity surveying environment.

  • Understanding of a variety of project types/sizes/sectors. Commercial, Education, Affordable Housing sector experience would be advantageous.

  • Able to work under own initiative where appropriate.

  • Keen to work as part of a team and to develop and progress career development.

Minimum Requirements

  • An experienced Quantity/Project Surveyor with a consulting background who shares our passion for delivering high quality consulting services to clients.

  • Very good numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to challenge in a positive and engaging manner.

  • You will possess proven experience in a professional environment.

  • Good experience of a variety of project types/sizes/sectors. Commercial, Education, Affordable Housing sector experience would be advantageous. Able to work under own initiative where appropriate.

  • Keen to work as part of a team and to develop and progress career development.
