Our Ireland Project business unit continues to grow due to successfully secured positions with many high-profile clients and some of the largest projects and programs in the region. As a direct result of this growth, we are currently seeking a full time Senior Project Manager to be based in our Dublin office.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be expected to work with a Regional Director or Director to successfully manage, coordinate and deliver projects for Data Center Clients.
The role will cover the whole project lifecycle from initial inception, due diligence, through the design, permitting and procurement process and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase.
As a Senior Project Manager you will be expected to work with an Associate or Project Director to successfully manage and deliver data center projects.
Lead Project Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.
Ensure commissions are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
Be the primary interface with AECOM clients (new and existing) and AECOM project teams.
Develop strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team.
Lead project delivery in collaboration with design, permitting, procurement and construction technical leads / subject matter experts.
Provide effective support and mentoring to Project Managers, Graduates and Apprentices.
Ensure all team members reporting to you have current and relevant training.
Manage the delivery of project management team outputs, in accordance with agreed scope, programme and quality standards.
Responsible for management of project costs, risk, communications, procurement, and stakeholders.
Provide full Project Management duties to AECOM clients in accordance with AECOM’s project Delivery System (PDS).
Approach to all projects requires a high degree of flexibility and creativity, excellent presentational skills, and an ability to communicate effectively with clients and consultants.
The successful candidate shall be charged with the delivery of Project Management Services within our Client focused and highly motivated professional team.
Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Project management or other construction or engineering related profession.
Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Project Manager Status with the RICS, APM CIOB or other equivalent institution.
Experience of successfully delivering large, complex projects would be advantageous.
Understanding of JCT, FIDIC and NEC standard forms of contract.
