Job Summary

Our Building Services team are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our MEP team based in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin.

Our wider Ireland team consists of 35 MEP Engineers and we are keen to add somebody who can lead on a number of projects, whilst also assisting in the development of our more junior Engineers within the team.

Our Dublin MEP team has recently been involved in a number of exciting projects including;

  • National Treasury Management Agency Fit Out Dublin LandingsTrinity College Dublin – Upgrade works

  • Grangegorman School Development Dublin

  • Curragh Racecourse Redevelopment

You can also expect to work on Data Centre and Mission Critical work.

The successful Senior Electrical Engineer will be able to specify and design all manner of electrical related systems such as; lighting (internal, external, street and emergency), power (generation, HV/LV distribution, small power layouts and schedules), fire alarms, communication systems, lightning protection and written specifications. Must be fully conversant with software packages supporting production of the designs/specifications such as; AutoCAD, Revit, Hevacomp, Amtech, Dialux, Lighting Reality, NES Specification.

Minimum Requirements

Ideally you’d be a Chartered Engineer or working towards your Chartered status. You should also able to demonstrate;

  • Significant experience in the construction/consultancy industry.

  • A Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Chartered Membership of the Institution of Electrical Engineers or similar essential

  • Eligibility for security clearance for UK MOD Establishments is essential
