AECOM Senior Civil Engineer - Water in Dublin, Ireland

Our successful Belfast Water team have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer with strong analytical skills and experience in technical delivery of water engineering projects.
As a Senior Engineer, you will be supported and encouraged to maintain your CPD and embrace initiatives to help you further develop your own skills and career. AECOM fully supports individual development and your manager will help you expand your experience, professional qualifications and skill set.
You will work alongside our project managers and lead design engineers throughout the project design and delivery cycle, supporting various design stages of water and wastewater utility projects to include carrying out feasibility studies, reference designs, detailed designs and preparation of reports and technical specifications. The successful candidate will work within our multi-disciplinary team, alongside geotechnical engineers, process engineers, mechanical engineers and environmentalists (etc.)
Compile technical notes and reports.
Produce feasibility studies, including financial and non-financial comparisons.
Produce high level and detailed flow and load calculations.
Manage junior staff and check work.
Develop AutoCAD design paskage and check of AutoCAD work.
Develop outline/detailed wastewater treatment works designs.
Ensure CDM compliance throughout design and construction.
Produce contract documentation, specifications etc.
We are looking for you to:
Have an MEng degree in Civil Engineering.
Hold post graduate industry experience.
Have AutoCAD experience and proficiency.
Be experienced working on the design and management of wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure upgrade schemes.
Be experienced in compiling feasibility studies on wastewater treatment and/or infrastructure projects.
Have knowledge and experience in the science of wastewater treatment processes.
Be experienced in the development of contract preparation and administration using NEC and/or FIDIC forms of contract.
