If so, we are looking for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dublin. You will be joining a team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.

AECOM Buildings & Places is made up of dedicated teams delivering projects in Commercial, Residential, Hospitality, Sports Venues, Workplaces, Education, Government and Healthcare. Within the Commercial Cost Management team sits the Critical Infrastructure team.
We are a friendly, busy and motivated team with an established track record of successfully delivering local monitoring projects with very good client relationships. Some of our key projects currently include;
40MW new build data centre on greenfield site, 220 kV GIS Substation, 9,000sqm Office fit-out,
Galway City Masterplan, 360-bed student accommodation scheme in Dublin, 20,000 sqm new Business School for a third level education institution.
About Our Team:
We are the Quantity Surveying team providing cost management services for critical infrastructure projects, including Data Centres and Substations to leading multinational companies. Along with specialist MEP cost management services on a diverse range of projects covering multiple sectors.
This role involves a project quantity surveyor position on the team. Responsibilities will include preparing initial cost estimates, liaising with the Client and other team disciplines, representing the company at meetings, identifying and developing value engineering opportunities and cost option studies, providing Cost Plan updates as the design progresses. Preparing Tender documentation, monthly cost reports and post contract duties through to Final Account.
Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution (individuals who have yet to sit their APC but are in the process will be considered)
Proven experience in data centre projects providing CM services
MEP CM experience would be an advantage
Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to challenge in a positive and engaging manner.
Ability to work under own initiative, where appropriate working closely with the Management Team in the delivery of some of our highest-profile project.
A clear work history and proof of professional development and learning
Ideally you will live locally to the office or be willing to relocate
Data Center project experience
MEP quantity surveying experience would be an advantage
Prior line-management experience of more junior personnel.
Experience of being the sole company representative at meetings with the Client and other team disciplines
