AECOM Project Cost Manager in Dublin, Ireland

Job Summary

AECOM's Dublin Cost Management team are, on the back of increasing work load and win successes, looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to work on exciting and challenging projects in the greater Dublin area. The approach to these projects requires a high degree of flexibility and creativity, excellent presentational skills and an ability to communicate effectively with clients and consultants. The successful candidate shall be charged with the delivery of Cost Management Services within our Client focused and highly motivated professional Dublin Team.

  • To undertake full scope of CM services including Pre and Post Contract Cost Planning; Procurement; Contract Admin.

  • Understanding of Commercial & Residential, new build and refurbishment

  • Understanding of various contract forms

  • Advising clients and design teams on cost, value and risk, not just cost - our USP is that we help our clients get the maximum value from their investment, not just the lowest cost.

  • An experienced Quantity/Project Surveyor Good numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to challenge in a positive and engaging manner.

  • You will possess post graduate experience in quantity surveying environment.

  • Understanding of a variety of project types/sizes/sectors. Residential, Commercial, Education, Data Centre, sector experience would be advantageous.

  • Able to work under own initiative where appropriate working closely with the Senior Cost Managers & Associates in the delivery of some of our highest profile project.

  • Keen to work as part of a team and to develop and progress career development.

Minimum Requirements

  • An experienced Project Quantity/Project Surveyor who shares our passion for delivering high quality consulting services to clients.

  • Excellent IT Skills shall be essential.

  • Very good numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to challenge in a positive and engaging manner.

  • Keen to work as part of a team and to develop and progress career development.

  • You will possess proven experience in a professional environment.

  • Professionally qualified – Quantity Surveying Degree
