AECOM's Water Infrastructure Teams in Dublin, Cork and Galway are looking for a highly driven Principal Civil Engineer to grow a professional portfolio of large water infrastructure projects for a range of public sector clients. You will be a part of our industry-leading water business and lead and contribute to the delivery of a wide range of projects that provide great outcomes for our clients, our local community and AECOM.
As a multi-disciplinary Water Infrastructure team, we are involved in delivering some of the most exciting infrastructure projects across; wastewater/water treatment, flood management, highway drainage, urban stormwater, dams, reservoirs and asset management.

Design, procurement and contract administration of a variety of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Preparation of reports, design and contract documentation.
Water and wastewater pipeline and pump station design.
Water and wastewater treatment process design.
Communicating with various internal and external clients and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes to the client's requirements
Assist maintaining and growing existing client relationships.
Technical mentor to younger professional scientists/engineers.
Manage projects through AECOM’s APIC system
BEng or equivalent qualification
Significant experience in pressure management for district meter areas or water supply scheme
Specific experience in PRV operations and controls
Ability to demonstrate positive and proactive HSQE behaviours
Strong optioneering, analysis and decision-making skills,
Strong collaboration, team building and leadership skills,
Excellent functional expertise with ArcGIS, Excel, Epanet, Synergi an advantage
Willingness to travel for site visits (day trips and longer stays).
