AECOM Talent Acquisition Advisor in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Job Summary
The TA Advisor will supervise and coach the TA team for the region in which they operate, the TA will work with hiring managers to refine their job descriptions, provide a slate for candidates for open requisitions, consult on hiring decisions, chairs feedback sessions with hiring manager, works on the development of offers and negotiates with candidates on behalf of AECOM.
Job Duties
Consults with the business on staffing strategy, hiring and sourcing trends
Provides extensive breadth of market knowledge and expertise of talent acquisition process and strategies
Participates in business meetings to stay updated on what is happening in the line of business and geography in terms of new business, projects that are ending and skill needs
Sets up and controls recruitment meetings
Responsible for ensuring the team are inputting and updating data in AGRS on a real time basis
Optimizes job postings and screening questions for marketability for internal and external positions
Develops and executes sourcing strategies; introduces new sourcing techniques to hiring managers and colleagues
Screens and interviews candidates, creates the candidate funnel on requisitions to provide the hiring manager with a slate of candidates by conducting resume reviews and pre screening interviews
Prepares candidates for interviews by supplying as much information as possible about AECOM, respective business line and the position.
Positively positions AECOM to candidates
Represents AECOM and business lines to external partners
Participate in recruiting events
Under general supervision, responsible for the recruitment of prospective employees for open positions by interviewing and assessing candidate appropriateness for employment qualification.
Refers qualified candidates for non-exempt, paraprofessional, and professional level positions.
Advises and participates in planning, strategy development, and policy related to Talent Acquisition on a basic to moderate scale.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of 8+ years’ recruitment / talent acquisition experience is required, preferably within construction and engineering. Middle East experience is essential.
