Roles and Responsibilities:
Preparation of highway designs to relevant local standards.
Leading a team of engineers and designers to develop designs.
Development of Design in Civil 3d Environment
Coordinating internal multi-discipline design teams working on Transportation projects to ensure cost effective, quality and timely input.
Developing of specific project outcomes on time, within budget, to the quality required.
Preparing and presenting project reports and presentations for internal and external clients.
Preparing technical proposals for submission to external parties.
Preparing cost estimates for infrastructure design projects.
Developing strong communications and working relationships with colleagues, management, subcontractors, public agencies and clients which support collaborative work practices.
Ensuring the effective functioning of large/complex and/or multidisciplinary teams by using appropriate interpersonal styles to promote team cohesion and collaboration.
Coaching, Mentoring and developing Junior staff.
Minimum of 10 of experience working in a consultancy and at least 5 years of Qatar experience.
You will be a member of professional institution and working towards Ceng or PE.
Ability work as a part of a team
Able to solve a wide range of transportation problems
Good communication and report writing skills
Experience in Ashghal , MOTC and other Highway design standards.
Working experience in Civil 3d is must.
Ability to use Microsoft office including power point
Bachelors Degree in civil Engineering and having masters would be advantage.
