AECOM Landscape Designer in Denver, Colorado

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a creative, highly talented Landscape Architect/Designer for our Denver studio.

Job Summary/Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination with architects, engineers, and designers on a wide array of projects ranging from urban planning and streetscapes, to civic plazas and corporate campuses

  • Ensure design continuity throughout all project phases

  • Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ensure design intent commitment and conformance in the preparation of landscape architectural documentation and graphics through all project phases

  • Understand, analyze, and provide technical design solutions for complex design problems

  • Engage in business development initiatives in the Rocky Mountain Area marketplace

  • Mentor and inspire junior design staff

  • Interface with current and potential clients

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field plus a minimum of four (4) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required

  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensure in Colorado and/or other Rocky Mountain West states

  • LEED accredited

  • Technical Skills in AutoCAD, Adobe, and MS Office

  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Great verbal, written and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to mentor junior design staff

  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency combined with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively within a team environment

Additional Information:

  • Sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The target salary for this position is $75,000.00 annually.
