The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Prepare drawings using computer aided design software including Revit and AutoCAD
Assist with the design of building mechanical systems including airside, hydronics, and plumbing
Work with and take direction from mechanical engineering staff
Perform basic mechanical design calculations and standard computations such as heating/cooling loads, pipe, duct, and equipment sizing.
Visit client sites for accurate existing conditions gathering
Interact and work with a diverse set of clients and subcontractors
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field plus two (2) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship is required.
Passed fundamentals of Engineering Exam (EIT/FE) or Professional Engineering License (PE)
Comfortable working in a high energy environment with frequent swift deadlines
Experience in the construction industry
Proficient in the use of drafting software including Revit and AutoCAD
Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
