Job Description

As an Operational Lead you are integral to the success of AECOM as a key strategic partner for our client in the Netherlands and Belgium and accountable for the contractual deliverables assigned to our LNG ( Liquefied natural gas) contractual scope.

You develop relationships based on trust to deliver operational excellence that reflects the interests of all relevant AECOM and Client stakeholders including:

  • Retailers

  • Management

  • L2 partners and suppliers

  • Contractors and sub-contractors

  • AECOM colleagues

You will be expected to apply your technical and contract management knowledge to procurement activities and root cause analysis regarding HSSE incidents for ongoing improvement of contractor performance KPI’s.

Within this role it’s important to listen, validate and work collaboratively to find solutions. You work within agreed team processes, procedures and systems to deliver and reinforce on a daily basis showing that AECOM is the FMC (Facility Management) partner of choice for our client regarding LNG works. Your effectiveness will directly impact the effectiveness of your colleagues.

This role is accountable to FMC Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HSSE performance and delivery of AECOM and client’s safety standards through contractor and site audits.

  • Promote a leading HSSE approach demonstrated through personal behaviours and values to team members and the contracted supply chain.

  • Management of the OPEX maintenance budgets within approved package levels and timescales, ensuring contractors supply accurate and timely invoices and estimates as required.

  • SAP audit and approval.

  • Budget control within GSAP and Excel.

  • Management of warranty claims.

  • Ensure current SLA’s are assigned correctly and provide feedback regarding SLA optimization in their individual areas of expertise.

  • Where necessary prepare business case for redefining and simplifying of the SLA agreements

  • Set up KPI definition of the contractors L3 and possibly also the L4.

  • Manage Contractor Performance (L3 and L4) across maintenance suppliers, using daily, weekly and monthly KPI reports to improve supplier performance and identify equipment replacement and upgrade opportunities.

  • Position the FMC service level towards all stakeholders as high as possible, according to possibilities within contract

Qualifications

  • Experience with cryogenic liquids in general plant engineering and keep aligned on latest technical possibilities and innovations regarding the LNG scope

  • Knowledge of petrol stations

  • Process safety and automation knowledge

  • Management of change process adaptation

  • Preventive and corrective maintenance plan preparation (OEM support)

  • Taking over the installation after the project phase, for this it must be understood how the plant works and which points should be checked

  • Checking the spare part management on pages L3 / L4

  • Analysis of the site performance (KPI)

  • Ensure you deliver the appropriate levels of quality checks on FMC work orders.

  • Participate and/or guide EPCM-CM/AI design and PM on projects and programs, value add driven

  • Ensure preventative maintenance programs are scheduled and executed with the Maintenance Leads to ensure legal and GIDS (CEI) compliance.

  • Fluent in English on a professional level

  • Ensure you act as the centre of technical excellence for Maintenance service to:

  • Input for “equipment lifecycle“ thinking to procurement initiatives.

  • Identify and develop Business Solutions to support and add value to our client and AECOM.

  • Input into development of design and innovation and knowledge management.

  • HSSE – Mastery: The Individual should have the knowledge to understand client’s and AECOM HSSE policies and standards and the experience to ensure they are implemented correctly.

  • Equipment – Mastery: The individual should understand the importance of the equipment to the customer offer and have the technical skills to undertake root cause analysis of poor equipment performance and to make informed recommendations for equipment repairs or replacement.

  • Design – Skill: The individual should be able to contribute to how site design can impact effective equipment maintenance delivery

  • Cost & Value Delivery – Skill: The individual should have the ability to take financial accountability for the delivery of FMC activities in line with predefined budgets

  • Procurement Contracts – Skill: the individual should be able to technical insights and contract management knowledge through supply chain management that will add value to any FMC supplier and equipment tenders

  • Stakeholder Management – Skill: The individual must develop relationships based on trust to deliver operational excellence that reflect the interests of all relevant stakeholders
