Job Description

AECOM France & BENELUX is looking for a deputy Business Development Manager, focusing on growth within the BENELUX area.

Main business development responsibilities are to:

  • Support business growth and yearly business targets for Benelux

  • Build and maintain updated pipeline

  • Support during bids with governance process support, providing references and material, building up the bid team, defining the winning strategy, setting up cross country collaboration and others

  • Deliver marketing plan and work together with marketing manager to implement plan throughout the year

  • Contribute to winning large scale opportunities

  • Ensure and lead regular business development meetings

  • Participate in building up business development community in each country

  • Represent AECOM with potential clients, government agencies, potential and current partners and competitors

  • Conduct organization changes to improve the BD and bid management internal processes

You will be based either in our offices in Leuven, Belgium or the Hague in the Netherlands and you will report to AECOM BENELUX & France Business Development Manager.


  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Management, Business, Economics or alternatively an Engineering degree in one field relevant to AECOM’s activity (construction, project management, civil engineering, environnement, etc…)

  • English, French or Dutch as mother tongue, fluent in another one of these three languages


  • A previous experience in client account management, customer development or marketing will be appreciated;


  • Strong business acumen ;

  • Ability to operate on a cross-national scale ;

  • Proficient in MS Office (current version): Word, Excel, and PowerPoint ;

  • Strong written and oral communication skills ;

  • Strong organizational aptitude and attention to detail ;

  • Ability to operate within a team setting
