- AECOM’s diverse team in Darwin are expanding! We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to deliver a variety of building and civil construction projects based in our busy Darwin office.
As a Project Manager with a world leader in engineering and construction management across some of the biggest civil engineering projects throughout the globe, you will be exposed to a range of projects and stakeholders across multiple industry sectors. A suitable Project Manager with AECOM will not only work in partnership with the client and design/construction teams, but also be adaptable to work across multiple project sites and locations.
The successful Project Manager will work across a key package of works, including site investigations, managing and interfacing with sub-contractors as well as managing EOT claims if applicable. This opportunity allows a Project Manager to work across multiple disciplines in major packages of work and generate a valuable network in key projects based from Darwin.
5 years’ + Project Engineering experience in a building or civil construction environments
Proven ability to deliver projects on time, to schedule and client parameters including a good understanding of project management frameworks
Prior exposure to delivering projects under a managing contractor model are highly regarded
Strong ability to manage, coordinate and delivery key packages of project works in fast-paced environments
Broad background in building/civil site construction, with an ability to be based in Darwin essential
Local market network and understanding of Federal Government frameworks and procedures is highly beneficial to assist in project concept-completion
Confident communicator in client-facing environments and an ability to engage successfully across broad and complex stakeholder groups
Strong ability to influence and confidence in negotiation
Ability to work alongside Project Managers, sub-contractors and clients in order to achieve optimal project results on time and on budget
Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar
AIPM Project Manager accreditation
