AECOM Project Manager in Dallas, Texas
AECOM Technical Services, Inc., is seeking a Project Manager in Dallas, TX (& various unanticipated locations throughout the US) to Work with different levels of both technical and administrative personnel responsible for the overall management and administration for a project and to establish project specific objectives. Oversee and ensure all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with the design while meeting the intended budget and schedule. Prioritize tasks with a commitment to completing tasks with urgency and within established deadlines. Work directly with the NY Metro Area senior management team. Perform various analytic tasks to support strategy, business / financial planning, and operations. Program financial metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis across the entire NY Metro. Monitor the status of projects and programs, with the ability to understand their relationship and potential impacts to delivery, implementation, operational and financial performance. Conduct civil engineering research and analysis, prepare reports and make recommendations based on findings. Lead and support various civil engineering projects within a client’s portfolio to deliver on plan and potentially ahead of schedule. Represent cost data formats necessary to control the project. Identify key civil project engineering issues. Use civil engineering drawings and specifications in the establishment of project baseline data. Compare actual cost to funding limitations. Prepare civil engineering expenditure forecast to identify critical points in project funding. Prepare and assist in various levels of the civil engineering project reporting. Participate in and lead civil engineering project cost review meetings. Assist in civil engineering project procedure development and implementation. Prepare civil engineering case forecast for select accounts. Prepare civil engineering analysis of progress trends and cost impact. Create and manage key performance indicator reports, dashboards, and spreadsheet databases. Create civil engineering and social infrastructure reports and presentations in various versions of software including Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint. Collect data and prepare various forecasts on key Projects. Maintain a high level with management, quantitative analysis, particularly under tight time constraints. Provide in-house expertise and leadership on specific technologies and engineering principles while working with and leading different levels of both technical and administrative personnel. Analyze complex issues and guide solutions to challenging issues within a team within their function, business unit and technical discipline, using standard operating procedures/methodologies as a basis and defining new procedures and methods. Perform various analytic tasks to support strategy, business / financial planning, operations and execution of projects. Independently evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.
Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in maintaining a high level with management, quantitative analysis, particularly under tight time constraints; providing in-house expertise and leadership on specific technologies and engineering principles while working with and leading different levels of both technical and administrative personnel; analyzing complex issues and guiding solutions to challenging issues within a team within their function, business unit and technical discipline, using standard operating procedures/methodologies as a basis and defining new procedures and methods; performing various analytic tasks to support strategy, business / financial planning, operations and execution of projects; and independently evaluating, selecting and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.
