Job Description
AECOM is seeking an EEO Compliance Manager. The EEO Compliance Manager is responsible for carrying out activities related to complying with federal and state laws, policies and guidelines regarding AECOM’s affirmative action program (AAP) and EEO Reporting obligations, including policies, and procedures to support the development and dissemination of the AAP and EEO Reporting.
This position offers flexibility for hybrid (combination of both in-office and remote/virtual) work schedules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: “Essential functions” are primarily job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation made by the employer.
Management of annual policy and updates of the Company’s 80+ affirmative action plans ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and related reporting.
Lead and complete packaging of all reporting, analyses, and related submission requirements for AAP plans prior to annual deadlines in coordination with third party vendor.
Develop action-oriented programs/activities to address affirmative action goals and diversify the workforce based on current composition and availability. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to ensure compliance and alignment with DEI priorities.
Evaluate/Assess effectiveness of outreach and recruitment efforts in compliance with federal and state laws, policies and guidelines.
Advance knowledge of OFCCP regulations and directives including successful audit response experience.
Responsible for implementation and management of new OFCCP related directives and laws into Company’s AA program.
Responsible for management of various compliance reports and filings such as EEO-1 Reports, VETS-4212 Reports, California Pay Data Reports, Illinois Equal Pay Reports, and various other state and federal compliance reports.
Adept with Microsoft programs, with special expertise with Excel
Maintains strict confidentiality of client information, communications and data.
Exhibits tact and professionalism when dealing with all levels of personnel.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree plus at least 8 years of experience with large scale (50+) affirmative action program, adverse impact and compensation analyses, and filing state and federal compliance reports, such as the EEO-1 and VETS-4212 Reports, with minimal supervision, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Advanced knowledge and practical understanding of Affirmative Action laws, regulations and executive orders and the legal underpinning of affirmative action.
Experience reconciling annual affirmative action plan data, including complex employment activity transactions and workforces and development of annual action plans.
Demonstrated ability to influence, communicate effectively in writing and during presentations, build relationships at all levels.
Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints with minimal supervision; ability to work overtime when needed.
Computer skills and knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, document management systems, and software programs necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate fully, effectively and appropriately by telephone, video, in-person and via email with a wide range of clients, attorneys, and staff under a wide range of situations and circumstances so as to consistently provide customer satisfaction with each interaction.
Must exhibit a high level of customer service and satisfaction and show support for the Firm's beliefs and values as it relates to customer service.
Ability to retain information and learn from instruction provided.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience handling OFCCP compliance evaluations.
More than ten years of experience developing AAPs.
Knowledge of Construction or Consulting AAP Compliance
Knowledge of DEI principles and policies.
Experience with audit response
