AECOM Contract Administration Manager in Dallas, Texas

Job Summary

The legal team for AECOM ’s Design and Consulting Services Group is actively seeking a Contracts Administration Manager. This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules with an expectation to go into an AECOM office periodically, and can be based from a variety of locations in the United States.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Oversees the administration and communication of all elements of contractual terms and conditions from proposal stage through contract close-out and audit.

  • Review and analyze contractual terms and conditions, redline and negotiate same in accordance with company guidelines.

  • Review RFPs and scopes of work (from a non-technical perspective) to meet internal contracting guidelines.

  • Prepare contract summaries.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 8 years of demonstrated contract experience with a major engineering firm, contractor or law firm in the areas of engineering and construction contracts or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Juris doctorate a plus

  • Well-developed communications skills; able to clearly and concisely express legal issues and analysis as it pertains to business and technical concerns to executive management, commercial and finance colleagues, technical colleagues and peers

  • Self-driven & resourceful to achieve goals independently and in groups

  • Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities

  • Ability to generate ideas, make recommendations & come to a consensus

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines effectively and efficiently

  • Ability to balance pursuit of good contract terms with reality of business demands

  • Ability to demonstrate creativity in reaching agreement with clients and subcontractors

  • Ability to assess risk related to contract/commercial terms and advise internal clients in developing risk management and mitigation plans

  • High degree of professionalism

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience in negotiation with outside counsel and business representatives within client organizations and government agencies

  • Experience in reviewing and negotiating professional services agreements while adhering to company policies and procedures

  • A skilled negotiator with the ability to conduct non-adversarial, win-win negotiations

  • Relocation assistance and/or per diem is not offering for this position.

  • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.

  • Offered rate of compensation (for Colorado locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $110K - $120K USD annually.
