Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Client Account Manager Water / Wastewater for immediate employment for the Dallas, TX office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • Serve as AECOMs primary point of contact with clients, and continually considering how clients can best be served by AECOM and ensuring high-quality service is provided.

  • Understand AECOMs obligations on current client contracts.

  • Manage, support and/or lead project teams on the design of water and sanitary sewer conveyance systems; municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities; infrastructure condition assessment and rehabilitation; master planning, and other studies.

  • Regularly meet with client staff from multiple levels of the client’s organization to obtain feedback on AECOM's performance and identify opportunities.

  • Monitor client satisfaction and addresses performance issues.

  • Prepare DFW and North Texas water strategy, Client Account Plan and Capture Plans.

  • Be the first person involved in the Go-No-Go decision making process in working with regional and national market sector leaders.

  • Ensure public and private sector clients become a sustainable source of repeat business.

  • Develop marketing and client capture strategies.

  • Establish relationships with both external and internal clients and customers.

  • Identify upcoming water and wastewater pursuits in the DFW municipal water/wastewater market that are consistent with AECOMs water business line and growth strategy.

  • Lead the proposal development process including Statement of Qualifications, Technical Proposals and Presentations.

  • Participate actively in professional organizations including TAWWA, WEAT and other water users associations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or related Engineering discipline with proven water, wastewater or conveyance planning, design, and/or construction experience.

  • 15+ years of experience with at least 7 years of client account management experience.

  • Proven track record with client account management, relationship development, brand elevation, project pursuit execution, and engineering/technical sales.

  • Experience in the full spectrum of client service, starting with positioning activities, proposal development, and delivery of project designs.

  • Must have knowledge and/or experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance systems, planning studies, condition assessments, and rehabilitation and repair projects.

  • Exceptional technical skills and experience delivering water/wastewater infrastructure projects.

  • Desire to serve and lead in a deliberate and focused, yet fast-paced team environment.

  • Excellent relationships and proven work experience with clients, including but not limited to, Dallas Water Utility, City of Fort Worth, North Texas Municipal Water District, Trinity River Authority, Tarrant Regional Water District, Arlington Water Utility and other water utilities in the DFW metroplex.

  • Familiarity and experience in Project Management and Contract Administration.
