AECOM Assistant Global Treasury Lead in Dallas, Texas

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an Assistant Global Treasury Lead to join our Corporate Finance team. The role will be based at the Company’s corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX and will require occasional travel.

The Assistant Global Treasury Lead will be responsible for managing the day-to-day cash management, risk management, and banking and capital structure activities of the organization. The Assistant Global Treasury Lead will serve as a key partner to AECOM’s SVP Corporate Finance & Treasurer, driving and reporting on key performance metrics as well as analyzing and recommending opportunities to address the company’s strategic and operating needs around the world.

Cash management responsibilities include driving the achievement of cash flow targets, ensuring operations have liquidity to support ongoing business needs and utilizing excess cash pursuant to the organization’s capital allocation strategy. Risk management comprises the mitigation of financial impacts arising from changes in interest rates and foreign exchange, ensuring that the organization remains compliant with the terms of all financing arrangements and oversight of contingent credit obligations of the company. Banking and capital structure responsibilities comprise the development of strategy and execution of financing needs while maintaining critical banking and other credit-related relationships essential to preserving the Company’s access to capital at optimal terms.

The Assistant Global Treasury Lead will work to ensure these responsibilities are carried out in compliance with policies and procedures that meet the organization’s objectives, needs and regulatory body requirements.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure liquidity and protect the balance sheet and P&L

  • Ensure covenant compliance

  • Lead quarterly and annual bank and bond compliance

  • Manage rating agency relationships

  • Responsible for global cash management and cash positioning activities

  • Optimization of the global bank account network

  • Design and execute the Company’s short-term liquidity forecast

  • Oversee the Company’s spot foreign exchange operations and identify risk mitigation actions for intercompany exposure

  • Create C-suite report for relevant KPIs

  • Oversee the Company’s letter of credit and surety bond portfolio

  • Key approver for project fx exposure and contingency and parent company guarantees

  • Procure and deploy the Company’s global banking infrastructure by establishing and cultivating relationships with the Company’s banking partners

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Company’s debt agreements and communicate requirements to relevant parties across the organization

  • Draft, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for cash operations, bank account administration, short-term investments, and electronic banking

  • Create and maintain key process narratives and workflow diagrams

  • Manage the treasury budget

  • Develop and implement the appropriate tools and technologies for resolving process deficiencies.

  • Identify opportunities to extend Treasury’s influence into the larger organization to help improve upstream activities that impact Treasury

  • Take responsibility for creating a culture of awareness for financial

  • SOX oversight

  • Ensure that all transactional Treasury activities are supported by process narratives

  • Oversee all bank account administration duties, including the organization and maintenance of banks, bank accounts, bank contacts, account signers, and Company-assigned powers of attorney

  • Daily liquidity management

  • Oversee international in house bank and cash movements across entities

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS plus 14+ years of relevant corporate finance / treasury experience in a global company or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Corporate finance fluency, including financial modeling capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Effective communicator with demonstrated ability to influence internal and external constituencies

  • Public debt market experience (rating agencies and marketing public fixed income offerings)

  • Demonstrated success building consensus to execute opportunities in project-based corporate environment

  • Advanced degree (MBA, JD, etc.)
