Job Summary

AECOM has an immediate need for engineers (Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems) to support the following programs in support of the Navy and Marine Corps: Aegis, LCS, and DDG 1000.

These positions may require support to any of the following tasks as required by contract: Software Engineering, Modeling and Simulation, Requirements Engineering, Requirements Management, Architecture Engineering, Test and Evaluation, Combat system performance analysis, Model Based System Engineering, Agile software development, General combat systems engineer experience, Data analysis, Warfare analysis, and Documentation.

Minimum Requirements

Education Requirements: Candidate must have a B.S. and 24 hours in physical science and/or equivalent scientific degree such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics

Specific Technical Requirements: Seven (7) years of engineering experience within one or more of the following specialized areas:

software engineering, modeling and simulation, requirements engineering, requirements management, architecture engineering, test and evaluation, combat system performance analysis, model based engineering, agile, combat systems, data analysis, or warfare analysis

At least 3 years of specialized experience with emphasis in one or more of the following: Combat Systems Cyber Security, Ships Self Defense System, Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) class frigate, Aegis Integrated Combat Systems, DDG-1000 Zumwalt class destroyer, Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense, Element Level (Weapon, Sensor, or Combat Management System) Experience, Agile software development

Clearance Requirement: Active US Government Secret Clearance
