Job Summary

Plan, initiate, and mange information technology projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.

Plan, direct, or coordinate, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Includes managers in specialized construction fields, such as carpentry or plumbing.

  • Develop and manage work breakdown structures (WBS) of IT projects

  • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports

  • Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with IT, building, and safety codes, or other regulations

  • Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems

  • Study job specification to determine appropriate technical approach methods for IT and Construction projects

  • Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing

  • Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed

  • Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of experience managing DoD Contracts.

  • Must have BA/BS degree

  • Ability obtain and maintain US Government Secret Clearance

  • Must be US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

Navy Weapons Systems Program Management Experience

Active Secret Clearance
