Job Summary

A policy analyst is responsible for examining the effectiveness of existing policies and laying out the groundwork for

new programs and legislation to improve operational efficiency of existing facility, draft a framework to meet operational

objectives & goals of new facility in coordination with key stakeholders in line with Govt of Odisha / NMC norms for the

medical college . Duties of the position include collection, analysing of data to the amend existing policy drafts and

proposing suggestions to improve the operational efficiency of existing policies. Policy expert also work closely with

key stakeholders to determine the goals & objectives of policies with defined KPI’s and KRA’s.

He / She shall have a good knowledge in the policies of a Hospital procedures as per the various Govt norms of

Medical college with a bachelor's degree in Hospital Management / Administration is the minimum educational


  • Draft a framework of policies in coordination with key stakeholders and prepare a structure for

implementation of the policies to meet operational objectives & goals of new facility in line with Govt

of Odisha / NMC norms for Medical College.

  • Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process

and Gift and Entertainment policy as per Govt of Odisha directives.

  • Assist Team Leader, Governance Expert and others in leading and delivery of all aspects of policies from

inception t through to implementation..

  • Achieve the highest standards of professional competence and to demonstrate this ability in all dealings with

clients and professional contacts, reinforcing the profile of the company.

  • Maintain and develop good relationships with clients, take every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile

of the firm as a provider of professional, premium quality services to the construction industry.

  • Review and evaluate legislation and policies

  • Analyse and implement policy and institutional reforms

  • Monitor existing policy for required institutional reforms and needs

  • Determine the benefits and drawbacks of existing policies

  • Propose suggestions to improve the effects of policies

  • Identify legal flaws in policies and recommend amendments

  • Liaise with stakeholders to determine needs and goals of policies

  • Gather data and produce reports on the qualitative and quantitative analysis

  • Analyse market trends and conditions

Minimum Requirements

A minimum of 5-10 years’ progressive experience is required at similar capacity Management and Administration, ideally applicants would have spent a significantscale Hospitals preferably with Govt Hospitals or with reputed institutes.

  • Workable Knowledge on NMC guidelines and their implementation.

  • Experience of work in Hospitals more than 500 beds is preferable

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
